A small graphic designer and web programmer with big dreams of outer space.

That’s basically how to describe me. Really, though, I am a huge nerd mainly for these reasons:

• I hand-write code. (PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ActionScript.) I hope to enter the application programing world soon. I even made a blog.
• I can take apart a computer and put it back together again (generally speaking).
• I love typography. A truly good font makes me smile. I receive newsletters about fonts, and shop for them online.
• Color theory is something I think about on a daily basis.
• When I go to a website, I highlight objects to see how they’re structured in code, and I frequent checking source code purely out of curiosity (but have never copied a line of code).
• I write small poems, typically haikus. You can find them on Twitter.
• I love triangles. ▲
• I wear big nerdy Clark Kent glasses with thick black frames.
• I’m obessed with good architecture. One day I will own a modular prefab house.
• I am a denimphile. I typically only wear raw and selvedge denim, that—if ever—sees the inside of a washing machine about 2 or 3 times in the time I own them.
• I wear mostly European brands that I buy at discounted prices on sites like Gilt.
• I own two Macs, an iPad, three iPhones, a Gateway convertible tablet, and an HP TouchPad.
• 50% of the time I’m awake (or more) I spend listening to music.
• I make my own print art for my walls.
• I analyze identity as I drive down the street (and see a logo on a sign), flip through a magazine (and see print design), and walk through the grocery store (and see package design).
• I love my car. It’s my favorite thing I own. If for nothing else, I am proud of myself the most for buying it entirely by myself when I was 20 years old.
• I seriously love fonts. I verbally identify fonts I see daily, and probably annoy everybody I know.
• I listen to indie pop electronic music you’ve never heard of.
